Forever Young

Fun for the whole family! I’m passionate about picture books. They introduce children to a love of art, I’ve seen it first hand with my daughters Lydia and Zoe. Today’s picture book artists are incredibly innovative visual artists, pushing boundaries with their use of both traditional and digital techniques. This juried exhibition showcased a broad array of styles and mediums and focused on engaging audiences of all ages — young and old. The exhibition featured the work of Calef Brown, Jannie Ho, Leslie Patricelli and more; and was accompanied by a pop-up Picture Book Shop featuring books and prints of artwork featured in the exhibition.

The exhibition opened with a family friendly reception that included book readings, giveaways, studio tours, and art activities; and was followed by a more traditional evening opening reception. Additional artist book readings, and meet and greets were scheduled on weekends during the exhibition.
